Ebay Business Using Products from Overseas.

Back in 2010, I decided to start an Ebay business. I had been an Ebay customer for many years, but had never ventured over the other side, sales. I often grew curious about the high prices of products that were still being purchased so quickly. It seemed like a great way to make extra money and to finally become my own boss.

It wasn't until I came across the topic of international trade/imports, was I finally able to see the bigger picture. China had a great selection of products, and many Ebay businesses were profiting extensively from selling their many products. I wanted to use products from overseas to make a profit from online sales. I found a great product (swimsuits) to focus on, and I decided to do my research into what varieties of the swimwear were popular and producing high amounts of sales revenue.

The venture was partially successful, being that I did make a profit. However, after adding in the pricing of shipping materials, it wasn't economically feasible for me to continue on with my business venture. Shipping and weigh size distributions greatly affected my sales flow. Overall, I feel like the experience was great, just not for me.
